win311.xyz is a small retro lab: a Windows 3.11 VM running somwhere in a data center and brought to you into your browser via noVNC. The goal is instant, nostalgic access with no setup required.
This website connects via VNC to a sandboxed virtual machine running on my server, running an obsolete and abandoned operating system. This website connects via VNC to a sandboxed virtual machine running on my server, running an obsolete and abandoned operating system. This machine is unable to connect to the internet and does not run inside your computer. Nothing shown on this site can be downloaded or otherwise used by others than me. If you still desire for a software title you hold the copyright for to be removed, please send an email to dcma@win311.xyz In this email, we request that you identify who you are, if you are acting as a proxy for a copyright holder, the exact files that you desire to have removed, and any helpful contact information, including phone numbers, reply-to email addresses, and your PGP public key - if applicable.
This website does not store anything. No logs, no cookies, nothing. Note that everything you do inside the virtual machine via VNC that runs on my server (not on your own machine) can be seen by anyone connected to this website. If you do not move your cursor inside the virtual machine via VNC and do not enter anything inside it, then nobody will see anything you do. Clicking links or moving your cursor anywhere but inside the virtual machine via VNC will not be seen or logged by anybody. If you do not wish that anyone can see what you do, then do not do anything or leave this site.
